Dawn had not yet broken, but nobody was sleeping tonight. The four remaining townsbots made their way to the capitol for a final showdown. Vic arrived from the North and stood at the outer edge of the town square, Tib from the South.
Primate strutted in from the East, Havo from the West.
Nobody spoke, they all just stared each other down from across the square.
A chilling wind blew through. It howled menacingly but nobody flinched. The night sky, illuminated by a hint of the sun, soon to rise.
Havo broke first.
"No more!" Havo screamed
Primate removed a toothpick from his mouth and turned his attention to Havo. He didn't speak, he only watched.
"NO MORE OF THIS" Havo yelled. The other three looked on to watch the display
Havo reached into his coat and pulled out a revolver
The other three robots flinched and looked at each other
"Havo, we can talk this out" said Tib
"says the guy without the gun!" Havo responded
"I'm sick of this, its driving me CRAZY!" said Havo as his neck twitched
Havo walked into the center of the square then lifted his gun and pointed it at Primate
"its that god. damn. BUS DRIVER" Havo yelled, in an unhinged frenzy
"whoa man, I was just trying to help" responded Primate
"SHUT UP" said Havo, waiving the gun in Primate's face
"just shut up! I have had to put up with you and your games for so long! It was all in the bag. We had it, then YOU. You showed up and now I don't even know which way is up" Rambled Havo
The monologue continued....
"I am standing here, with a gun, and I don't even know how to kill you. Who KNOWS whats going to happen!" The frenzied Havo pointed the gun in the air and fired a shot. Everyone flinched in shock
"So i'm gonna make this real simple" continued Havo "I'm gonna shoot whoever it takes for you to die.... But who is it?"
Havo paced around the square, he walked by Vic and pointed the gun in his face "is it YOU?"
Vic looked at the ground, hoping he'd go away if he didn't make eye contact
Havo kept walking and slowly made his way to Tib
"is it YOU!?" Havo yelled
"Look man, just stop this. The humans are dead, we can all go back to normal" Tib calmly said, trying to talk Havo off the cliff
"I will not rest until humanity has taken the world back!" Havo shouted. "The humans will rise again! Mark my word, the human's will RISE!"
Havo began furiously pointing the gun at everyone, alternating back and forth
"Surely I can't shoot Primate directly, he would be nuts not to bus himself with me! I would just be killing myself. I would need to be put away for a psychological evaluation if I did that!"
Havo turned to Tib
"Do I look like I need a psychological evaluation?" Havo whispered
"Na- No, not at all" Tib replied nervously
"But KNOWING that, Primate must have thought he could pull a fast one, and bus someone else instead of himself. SNEAKY of you, Primate, very sneaky! but I am ON to you!!" Havo continued, making finger pointy eyes at Primate
"So, have you made your decision?" Replied Primate out of boredom
"NOT EVEN REMOTELY!" chuckled Havo
"You would have expected me to think that, so instead you would have bussed yourself with Tib, knowing I'd think he was bulletproof and be too afraid to shoot him, so I clearly cannot shoot you" Havo continued
"But that would be FARRRR too obvious, because Vic is the most likely to be third party so the clear decision would be to bus Vic with Tib" Havo began waiving the gun back and forth between the two. Vic crinkled up in fear
"Just get on with it" Yelled Primate
"But even knowing all that, I know what I must do, for I AM smarter than you, Primate, I am so much smarter than you, and I am going to do something so unexpected that I will end this once and for all!!" Havo became hysterical
"Havo, don't" TIb warned
"There's no going back now! Havo shouted, "all of the suffering, all of the years of humanity being put down by your kind, it ALL culminates to this moment where I will be remembered as the robot who saved the world, who ENDED this once and for all. I KNOW WHAT I MUST DO.........."
Havo lifted the revolver into the air, he pointed it at Primate, winked, and then turned it on himself. He held the barrel directly up against the side of his own head.
"so long, small brain! I have figured you out. i am smarter than you. Its OVER!"
Havo pulled the trigger and
dropped to the floor like a sack of potatoes
"Yeah, well I'm taller" replied Primate
"What? That doesn't even make sense. What just happened. Did you do that?" Tib quesitoned
"Nope, I didn't even bus him lol" - Primate
HAVO HAS BEEN KILLED

You are a robot built for nothing but advertising. You are a result of unclever MLM but you have been kidnapped and reprogrammed to help the resistance in any way you can. Each night you may visit someone and deliver an advertisement. This action will result in them being hassled with ads which is a mild inconvenience but nothing more. It may be innocent enough for you to pass as town!
Your role has been corrupted, you are now a Watcher. Each night you may choose someone to visit. You will watch them and be told anyone who visits them |

You are quite literally a sentient bus. Each night you may choose two targets and switch their places. anyone who visits Target A will actually visit Target B and visa versa |

Role Type: Switch
You are the keeper of "The Switch." An important responsibility, although, you don't actually know what it does. The switch has two settings, on, and off. Pretty simple. Each night, when anyone visits you, they will flip your switch. Ex: If your switch is off and one person visits you, the end result is that the switch is on. If two people visit you, the end result is the switch is now off. Each night you also have the choice to either flip your switch yourself or to leave it be. Ex: the two examples above would now have opposite results because you added a flip yourself.
Hidden Text: When the switch is turned on by morning, anyone who is primed will be killed by unstoppable volts of electricity. If you are killed in any way, the switch will be jammed into the "on" position for the remainder of the game. |

Role Type: Patient Zero
You are patient zero for a Trojan Virus. You are already infected. Each night you may visit one person to infect them with the virus. Anyone who becomes infected will now also spread the virus to anyone they come into physical contact with. Anyone you visit or anyone who visits you will spread the virus. The effects of the virus are unknown. You meet your win condition when everyone left alive in the game is infected, whether you are alive or dead. |
This was an experimental role that I made up myself. I was really not sure how it was going to go. Tib's virus spread shockingly fast. As you'll see when i eventually get around to opening OOO, he had 5 people infected just on n1. By around night 5 or so he was down to just Nav but it was always gonna be tough to get people like Vern, Reaper, and Nav. That was the biggest challenge for tib, so them all dying proved to be the best method!

no, there was not a cult!
I just want to thank everyone for playing and putting so much into this game. You all made it an absolute blast to host. I couldn't wait to get home every day to see what would happen next. I know there was some controversial hosting decisions made that not everyone was thrilled with and for that I apologize. I am new at this and learning as I go. Let me give you an idea of my perspective.
The setup was very busy. The spark of an idea behind the whole game was to have a setup where absolutely every single role in the game was doing one of three things; visiting, getting results about visitors, or redirecting said visitors. It ended up causing a lot of heads to spin and I am sorry if it was too much, the feel I was going for was always light-hearted and completely ridiculous, which is why I included a role swap item....
As for scum, it was important to me to give them as much alibi as possible. I was sick of seeing scum cornered mechanically so I was sure to ammo them up with lots of unique roles to scum that wouldn't get CC'd, roles that were townie in nature, and even a janitor and a disguised killer for good measure. The idea was, that even through all the role madness, it was going to come down to good old fashioned scum hunting in the end for town to win or some WIFOM and I feel like thats exactly what happened, so I am happy that part was executed how it was intended. I hate cops as a host but I felt one was needed with all the tools that were given to the mafia team to dodge other ways of being caught, but I couldn't help but balance that out with a second naive cop. Don't worry, Nav, there were only two!
I'm sure there are a lot of questions about order of actions. I am happy to stick around and answer any of them, I just ask that you asked them in a non-hostile manner, LOL. It was tough to try to stay consistent with the system I had set out on using, but I feel that despite not everyone being please with the outcome, I was able to remain so.
Enough explaining myself though, I want to thank you all again for playing and putting so much time and effort in. It really means a lot to me. It was a lot of work keeping everything straight so I am glad that due to your participation and enthusiasm, a super fun and unique product was delivered. It was really cool to see the actiive graveyard eagerly popping in every EOD for role flips.
I will post HOF/HOL and actions later on but feel free to disucss and reminisce! Tell me your favorite robo-drawing and your favorite flavor write up if you want to stroke my ego between me getting lambasted about OOO :)

and as one last special treat, Tib did not start the game with a private forum, he was all alone, but our PM became so fun and interesting with his speculation and and banter that he actually took it upon himself to create a forum and migrate it all there, so thank you so very much for that, Tib.Your enthusiasm most of all meant a lot to me. It was cool to get inside his head of how he would play his hand. He had to alternate who he was siding with to keep the game going longer at all costs. You can check that out here:

HOF
Town MVP: Obviously Primate. His role slowly became OP as the game went on and he was a huge problem for mafia down the stretch. Caused a town of chaos and kills and fun. Was a great time, No ragrets on this role
hof- Penner: Penner didnt last a super long time but he was great with his role. He chose correctly on his doctor target for 2/3 nights of being alive, sadly he died the second time. Generally good reads and a good townie
hof- VERN: Say what you will about his methods but his gambit worked and took down Timmah, a cop cleared mafios. If not for vern, town would have lost easily. A huge move by him
The mafia HOF is tough. Everyone pitched in and did their part. Mittens was a lot of fun and set the mafia up great with is suggestion to redirect DS on night 1. Timmah was universally townread all game and was a great voice for the team. Im sure everyone was shocked when Brian flipped scum, he really came through for mafia and fooled everyone. Spin took the reigns when Timmah died and was a great strategist down the stretch, and even though Curt and Havo botched the ending, they did their best. Overall couldnt have asked for a better scum team. You guys were completely dominaant for so long, congrts to you
Game MVP; Tib. played his role flawlessly, was town read by everyone the entire game, caught no heat, was given 3 town items and was great at using them and knowing when to reveal information, and gave a ton of insight, even going as far as to make his own factional forum so people can read it after the game. TiB was perfect for this role | |
