What's the verdict on wearing masks? A lot of people are doing it and someone made me a cloth mask but I am also hearing a lot criticism with people being called stupid for even bothering. I can't really find anything clear on the effectiveness or lack there of? Should I wear my cloth mask when I leave the house or is it a placebo Coronavirus fashion statement?

Someone posted a graphic saying cloth masks were 0% effective to prevent transmitting a virus but Idk where the data is from. I would think if it's reducing how far your breathing goes then it could help but idk

update, i tried on the homemade mask and the elastic doesn't fit around my fat face from ear to ear so never mind!

Well I don't cough into my hand or sneeze into space to begin with because I'm not a heathen so maybe a mask isnt for me
