Imagine choosing cause and being informed you are to be killed by a shark. You spend the rest of your life avoiding bodies of water, but the rules state the information can't prevent your death, so the universe has to hurl a shark through your living room window out of a clear blue sky one day

That way if I choke on a hot dog or something I know to just avoid lol you can't avoid it though, so in that case you'd have to eat one without knowing or be forced at gun point or something lol But if they're trying to force you at gunpoint, you know that they aren't actually going to kill you because then the cause of death would be 'gun' instead of 'hotdog'.
