Agree with Herm and Curtis

Herm mentioned that Lamps is a popular N1 target. If he's a popular target for a killer, then I don't see why/how he wouldn't be a good choice for a protector/doc/etc.

And Eben's post stuck out to me as well. He references a flawed (imo) comment from Merc to justify his vote.

I don't understand why a Vig couldn't have killed JC.

Usually someone with that role can't resist killing someone. On the first few nights, in the absence of a solid scum read, they'll kill an inactive.

But how about a player actively complaining about their role? Being distracting? And even self-voting at one point?

I can see a Vig killing him.

FOS on those that are discounting that.

Would like to hear more from Lamps.

With a game this size, wouldn't we normally see Mafia, Vig, SK?

I can see JC being targeted by a SK too.

I wouldn't think Mafia would target someone that normally looks scummy.

I guess if we only have 2 killers, then Mafia/SK makes more sense than Mafia/Vig

This is really pretty interesting. In 99.9% of the games over here, when someone survives a kill and there is not an accounted for reason, they get lynched. And about 90% of the time, they flip scum of some fashion. And rarely is there much push back from more than the person who survived and maybe 1-2 others. Contrast to this game, where Lamps survives a kill attempt and has 5-6 people defending him pretty damn hard.

Keep reading this post. Those are some pretty damning statistics.

Cold-hearted in that I mentioned it.

And not sure why it looks bad. The two scenarios you stated for goofing up a doc role is where we're heading.
