They should have something like this on the next season on American Horror Story
This is far more scary than anything that has ever happened on that show! | |

Just watched episode 5. Some thoughts:
|
I dont know anything about how court proceedings happen in America but seriously that judge either seems like a complete idiot or completely corrupt.
The defence cant point at any other possible suspects? What the hell? How is disallowed in a murder trial?
The defence cant place forward evidence to the jury that her voicemail was accessed AFTER the prosecution think she died? How in the hell would Avery know the password to her voice mail to go in there and delete messages? Thats a pretty HUGE reasonable doubt that someone other than Avery had her phone after she died. Someone that knew her password.
HUGE ending as well. Officer Colburn calls in a licence plate number AND the make and model of the vehicle 2 days before the find it? His reaction is all you need to know he was really worried at that point. How wasnt the finding of the car not thrown out as evidence at that moment? There is no way he would have called that in if he wasnt looking at the car himself. That alongside the blood vial being tampered with HIGHLY suggests that the car and blood were both placed.
This gets more shocking by the episode.

Just finished episode 10

What an incredibly sad and predicable ending.
Astonishing that it was 7 vs 3 on innocent at the start of the deliberations but then moved to guilty over time. Read somewhere that one of the jurors was the father of a sheriff and that he was very adamant on delivering guilty and refused to listen to any arguments in the discussion. Mental. How is that not a conflict of interest?
How Steven gets not guilty on mutilation and guilty on murder seems very weird to me. If they believe the story the prosecution put forward, then they have to rule guilty on that right? Very weird.
Brendan being convicted is the true tragedy in my eyes. There is no physical evidence that corroborates his story and they are 100% believing a very obviously coerced confession of a 16 year old kid who is borderline mentally disabled. What the actual fuck. How can Wiegert and Fassbender sleep at night? That is some serious psychopathy on their part.
How the courts in Wisconsin time and time again reject their appeals and requests for a retrial are also very suspect. Almost like they dont want to open that can of worms as they know its going to look bad for them. Regardless of justice. The governor also seems like a piece of shit. One moment he is having his picture taken with Avery and the next he is defending the Justice department for their behaviour. Deplorable.
Ken Kratz is then exactly the person I expected him to be. What a total scumbag and a piece of shit. He is the one who should be in prison for that press conference alone after Brendan "confessed". What an absolutely unethical thing to do. After that he was never going to get a fair trail. Him and Len Kacinski are such punchable assholes.
Anyone think the ex boyfriend did it? He has means, motive and opportunity. Not to mention he appeared to know exactly where the car was kept (that lady he sent is the only one that gets a camera and a direct phone line to the sheriff). He knows her voice mail password so he could definitively have gone in their and erased those messages after they think she died. He would also very likely know she was going to Steven Avery and know his past, the perfect opportunity. He was never asked for an alibi if I remember correctly. Seems to point to him?
Dont think anyone can say with 100% certainty that Steven Avery DIDNT do it, but there was a shit ton of reasonable doubt. He should not be in prison.
