Quentyn had a contract signed by the sealord of Braavos, so they must have been there at one point.

Didn't Dorne have a lot of blood orange trees? Only remember Areo talking about them :p

But you have to keep the big green field that Dany runs through bare-foot towards the red door in mind aa well. The only place I can imagine it may be in Braavos is the backside of the big ass sealord palace. But Dany remembers it more as like a private place.

Not saying its a bad theory, just that we know that Willem and Oberyn signed the contract with the sealord in witness. Which means they where in Braavos for some time at least.

If the theory that he is a Blackfyre is true would the Martell's back Aegon?

Whats the basis of the theory that he is a Blackfyre?

There's really not much, I think the strongest "evidence" is one of Dany's visions which mentions a "mummer's dragon"

I think it mostly stems from people not wanting him to be an actual Targaryen and him being a Blackfyre is the only way around that. I'm in that camp too, having such an important character get introduced in the 5th book seems dumb, unless Dany ends up killing him to maintain her claim or something

Just read some of the arguments on the internet. Seems very circumstantial.
If he is a Blackfyre, whats Varys and Illyrio's motivation for having Aegon ascending the Iron Throne and not Danny? Why not just train Danny/Viserys like they did with Aegon?

Why did Illyrio give Danny the Dragon eggs at the start if he knew Aegon was out there and wants that much to support him?

Why would Varys lie to a dying Kevan? No reason at all to lie.

However, it seems like Martin has been feeding us more information regarding the Blackfyre's and there is probably a reason for that . Aegon is not on the show as well, where they havnt talked about Blackfyre's
