This is kind of a bummer because more town died but no town got to act so we're sort of in the same place we were yesterday. minus who was and wasn't on the train but it was kind of a runaway already.

I took a risk at thinking maybe Herm was honest. I liked the idea of his power just being a vanilla swirl.

I mean with how Herm's power shook out I wouldn't be surprised if mafia considered him a bus to be thrown under

I just thought maybe it would be a special vanilla. Once I got that thought in my head I couldn't shake it. Plus it was a sure vote at that point I was just hoping I'd be right and y'all would be like oh we should have listened to mal what does the great mal say today? "No I dunno"

One game I got like 5 phases out of a lucky Wikey counterlynch and I've been riding that high ever since.

I honestly wouldn't be shocked if all the scum went after Herm (or just didn't vote) and hoped we'd just devour ourselves over the hinky votes from the lack of night info.

Not looking at it too hard but if zersch were scum saving him for the lynch rather than proving his worth by killing him outright was the better move because it procc'd his ability.

Again I think using the kill at all day 2 would be pretty ballsy as you put a big target on your back if you're scum unless you always go the under the bus route.

I was thinking about this a lot when I had the vote power last game. It's like a huge look and scrutinize me please power.

I sort of get honest vibes from zersch? He had quite a quick flip with no info to back it ip. (up)

I mean I also want him to play more because I love him and he's like hitting all the reasonable player boxes that I would hit as town being sussed in a similar situation.

I think one thing in Z's favour is he's the one who brought Herm into this in the first place. The lynching of Herm would be a known quantity to scum. His death essentially freezes town info so we'll be grasping almost entirely at the scraps of the straws of the previous day which includes the person who left Herm to lynch.

Mind you everyone told Z that gmaj was a good target which inherently leaves Herm as their unspoken follow-up lynch without them having to say it outright.

Like I get that's it's 4d chess to wifom this but Herm's power sort of has a basic plan element to it in that it removed all night fuckery from the planning table of the scum. No worries of who attacks who or what that target might have implied or who was watching or protecting that target. That also includes who is blamed for the entire lynch after the fact. A very loud and obvious un-derailed lynch.

Zersch just seems too in your face obvious in the end of this. Like I get risking Herm for free kills but tying a scum zersch to this nonsense just seems silly to me.

Call me a naive dumbo but that's where my head is.

I'm just saying the phrase "policy lynch" Rodney used makes me kind of uneasy because if we mislynch and scum hits 2 more town tonight... Woof.
