This series is just going to become more and more of a mess I bet they'll try to make a new sequel trilogy and ignore the previous one. It's gonna be Halloween all over again

I also thought it was pretty forgettable but for what it was it could have been a lot worse.

At least solo didn't spend 2 hours saying A New Hope didn't happen

I wish rise of Skywalker had just been a forgettable movie instead of a dumpster fire I cannot forget.

I'm just going to read more of that duel of the fates plot outline and cry over what could have been

I felt like tros failed so hard because instead of working with the story given to them they spent the entire movie saying that almost every detail of last Jedi was either wrong or didn't matter and it makes the whole trilogy a mess now. Like other than Luke being dead tros made it so you could completely skip last Jedi and not miss anything.

It would be like if Return of the Jedi was just them explaining to Luke that no Vader isnt really Lukes father that was just a metaphor also Lando is there but instead of doing anything he uses the majority of his 2 minutes in the movie explaining why he shouldn't fight on endor and leaves.

I think it's all just become too easy and predictable, the Star Wars universe. We want to see some new worlds and characters. Rouge One was so nice because it strayed away from the typical ending. Star Wars saga shows us a ton of cool new worlds and whatnot. Mandalorian is nice because it's arguably "different". But a lot of the Star Wars stuff is just a lot of the same now.

That's what happens when a majority of the "fans" only like Empire and nothing else

I liked Jar Jar as a kid!

I had so much jar jar merch I still have a jar jar bank.

So it seems like they were planning a Darth Maul show on Disney+... But then Ray Park (the guy who plays maul in episode 1/solo) just went and posted revenge porn on his Instagram... Like the same day the rumours came out.

I also don't have any real hate for the prequels but I'm not one of those new prequel lovers who say they were the best and the sequels are garbage ... Well I was ok with the sequels until they ended while hating themselves ...

I was going to compare the love admitting scenes from episode 2 and episode 5 because I just remember Padme and Anakin being so awkward in the script ... And remembering Harrison Does originally was supposed to say "I love you too" but it was just so awkward and weird and changed the line. Lol.

But actually watching the clip from episode 2 at 3am and listening to the music behind the scene I feel like at least the idea of the scene is nice even if the acting is weird and its like trying to be this shakespearian romantic tragedy in the middle of a silly space movie written by a guy who has only seen muppet baby parodies of Shakespeare.

What I'm trying to say is...I'm trying not to be a hater even if episode 9 jaded the hell out of me.

Also I'm still pissed off they didn't bring back Phasma... Like I know people hated her but they had a nice definitive death scene for her in episode 8 and they instead switched it out for a more ambiguous scene where she falls off screen and you don't see her again! If JJ hadn't been so busy jerking off the knights of Ren she could have fit in 9 somewhere pretty easily I think. Maybe even have Phasma replace that other mask girl Poe is flirting with? I don't know I just really had a lot of faith in Phasma and really would have liked to see her story given some actual finality... Maybe villain to traitor to grudging ally or at least a crazy person they have to take down... Something... Anything!

Like I get she was supposed to be the sequel boba but she ended up being all the worst parts of Boba too!
