Mal, what was your reason for jumping on the Primate lynch yesterday? Same to you Zersch. im317, what did you end up learning from the lynch like you said yesterday? Cause the only thing I learned is that Primate was not lying and ahoda most likely wasn't either and it was town v town.

Well I figured we'd learn more of lynching someone that was opposed to another player and was somewhat involved rather than just a shot in the dark like tib who I didn't know anything about.

Honestly in usually inclined to avoid lynching in these games but I figured I'd take a chance and not just go for an item every day. I did talk about maybe only going for items every other day and figured I'd practice what I preached.

The hammer in the game makes you flail wildly for a period of time hitting everyone you touch and everyone who touches you for massive damage.

But there is a chance the hammer is a dud and the head will fall off and you'll just be swinging the hammer stick uselessly and you're just a sitting duck until it goes away.

I've been suicided by that Bowser move more often than I'd like to admit. Making it an actual ability is pretty clever boc. A+

Meta Knight is sometimes a villian. Dedede is also sometimes not the villain but there aren't that many bad guys in smash.

Alright, so I spent a fair amount of time looking over yesterday. There is a lot of substance in yesterday's conversation if you can bring yourself to wade through some very cringy posts. Here are two things that stuck out: - I seriously do not understand the decision to lynch Primate. Sure he was incoherent when he was arguing with Timmah/Ahoda/Johnny, but his claim itself was pretty coherent and believable. He didn't develop a lynch train until after he had outed his role as Diddy and the fact that he had four abilities (one of which was defensive and very much lined up with his claim). 4 abilities, one of which involves night immunity, probably made him a pretty high priority lynch target for scum. I'm looking pretty closely at everyone on that train, but I think that one or two of drrrrr/Mal/317/Zersch is likely to be scum because they really sealed the deal. Mal in particular, because he was the vote that turned the tides from TIB to Primate and he had mentioned earlier on that he found part of Primate's claim to be believable. - I find it pretty interesting that Christian tried to push for Zersch to receive his final smash both days he was alive. I'm not sure how far to read into that because Zersch has come off as pretty town like in his posts (though his voting record hasn't been great). But I definitely want to make sure that Zersch does not receive his Final Smash because If he IS scum, then it's very likely that his smash is really powerful. Also, I'm getting very strong town vibes from Jamie and Helios at the moment.

This game really is all new to me. As far as I know every role could be anything with any alignment. So believing primates role or not didn't make me think he was town or scum. As far as I knew he was rocket powered scum Diddy. It still would be nice to know if allignments are randomized to characters rather than just people. I feel like if it were characters it would be pretty easy to narrow down people since there are 35 characters in smash and 35 in the game. Like my little board of people showed people slowly getting ticked off.

After reading everything, I would still most like to lynch either im317 or Mal. Mal hasn't done much to really defend himself against the people who are accusing/lynching him, which seems odd to me.

I didn't really feel like there was any real reason to defend myself before now. I stuck my neck out and made a dumb call that's about it.

Just a note as I look back on the votes yesterday, one of my accusations about Malion was wrong. His "welp, flipping a coin" post was his TIB lynch vote, not his Primate lynch. Seems like something he should have been more than happy to correct me about.

Sorry I was in an intense board game sesh last night and I did notice but figured it would work itself out. I went for tib random then switched to primate when I saw it would probably give more info between him and uh... The other person im sorry I shouldn't be making this post at 5:30.

You don't think the hammer's a day kill? Sounds like it's set up for that, given that it's the only item available today.

I mean it could be. The fact that the hammer activates as soon as you touch it might mean it attacks automatically?

But in the game you just swing indiscriminately hitting anyone you can reach and stopping people from hitting you by hitting them first.

Could be a random attack or a instant counterattack weapon

Perhaps the hammer is some kind of PGO-type action? Thinking about how the hammer automatically knocks the shit out of anything that comes in contact with it, perhaps the hammer automatically knocks the shit out of anyone who visits the person?

That sounds right except for the fact that the item is being publicly recieved. Nobody is going to be bothering the hammer person tonight surely. Seems like the threat of the hammer works just as well as the hammer itself.

This is true. Or you could throw a bomb or use find fire or any projectile really... Don't think the meta for this game is That complicated though.

I was about to theorize that maybe the mafia in this game are the bottom tier brawl characters but it looks like cap falcon and Mario are bottom tier... Who knew?
