I do doubt he will be kept silent as he did have a voice in the original show... also in the Manga adaptations of the stories. I think once the control of the character goes away it's a little harder to sell the character is silent because you are his voice angle.

I wonder what sort of budget will be here... a CGI heavy tv show seems like a bad idea however you slice it... unless they will tone down like the enemies and non human character bits somehow... which doesn't sound like a good idea.

I mean other than the fact that I think it would work better as an original plot and not an adaptation I think the cast isn't bad. (Although Maisie might be too old to play a young Link... At least oot y.link) Link is a reincarnated hero who has had a lot of variance in his appearance. He could be a girl in theory... He could be black... He could even be non-human. Zora Link for real) The show could even span multiple iterations or Link if it wanted to.

They sort of did something like that with Hyrule Warriors.
