this is probably going to get me some backlash but I think trains are dangerous. I think that parents should have every right to not allow their kids on one. When I was a kid all we had was the bus and that was fine. I would sneak into the living room to watch Shining Time Station with Thomas the Tank Engine but it never went well... I've even got an old VHS under my bed that I would pop in when no one was home

But even so I think trains are something a consenting adult should ride if they... want to? (why?) I think it's just something frivolous that fucking rich people faun over. I mean we have cars, everyone has a car... why would you ruin something like a car by bringing light to this totally unnecessary thing. It's just... I think trains are like the thug version of cars... there I said it.
