| Because randomizing makes better characters more likely to go up against each other in earlier rounds. Seeding would put all the (perceived) best against all the worst right away. I like randomization better though because it makes the early rounds more interesting |
Plus seeding really only gives the illusion of choice for a few rounds making the inclusion of those characters pretty pointless in the first place. |
