I once ran a labyrinth (our labyrinth not the movie) inspired d&d one-shot... I probably could do it again with a few people. Just a simple little thing.

Have either of you done anything text based? I've never really seen one play out so I'm curious about them |
I did on DS' Portal discord. It was fun at first but once he set up a bot to do all the math and attacks and saves it just became a little too video gamey without a lot of the creative freedom I usually go for.

Yeah that doesnt sound so hot. I wouldnt mind something very uh...early 2000s forum text based. Choose your own adventure ish or something |
Yeah I had an idea like this for the Warrens. Where it's Labyrinth bit everyone is just playing one character and can submit the next action. I had a lot of ideas for art for every action and stuff and it really made me just clam up on actually doing it but a text based cyoa would be pretty solid.

Like I'd even be down for just an oldschool freeform forum role playing adventure with no rules other than just don't god mod the other players you work together without a dm to make a story together.

This sounds perplexing, but intriguing |
Well if you've listened to grave and busters it's like that but without the dice rolls you just decide what happens next for your characters. It's less about winning and more just group improv/storytelling
