The song ended as soon as Syrena and Barbossa left the horizon. Once the Pirates came to their senses, a sinking realization dawned upon them. Their numbers were decreasing at an alarming rate. They were approaching desperation. And in their desperation, they turned to the Brethren court. The assembled the nine pieces of eight in order to make a life-or-death decision. They needed to decide what to do about the goddess Calypso. Bound in human form by the first Brethren court. Would the Pirates seek her power to make a stand against their enemies or would they find another way?
