Top 5 movies

1. The Batman
2. Bullet Train
3. Top Gun: Maverick
4. See How They Run
5. Lightyear

I did not see a lot of movies last year that came out in 2022. Everything Everywhere All at Once is most probably gonna be #1 for me, I just haven't watched it yet. The Batman, Bullet Train, and Top Gun: Maverick were amazing. The other two are the best of what I could remember.

Top 5 tv shows (that i watched in 2022)

1. Goblin (2016)
2. Her Private Life (2019)
3. It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020)
4. Reacher (2022)
5. House of the Dragon (2022)

Books!

In no order:

Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie
Poirot Loses a Client by Agatha Christie
Curtain by Agatha Christie
Death Comes as the End by Agatha Christie
Murder in Mesopotamia by Agatha Christie
Appointment with Death by Agatha Christie
Cards on the Table by Agatha Christie
The Body in the Library by Agatha Christie
Easy to Kill by Agatha Christie

There were more but I'm not sure if I'd read them in 2021 or not.

I loved "To Your Scattered Bodies Go" by Philip José Farmer, so I read the sequels to it last year. The first sequel The Fabulous Riverboat was okay. The next two were boring to atrocious to yeah. I struggled through three and four and dipped out after the story got wrapped up and never read the tacked on last one. I wouldn't recommend reading past the first book, tbh, especially if you think it's a great book.

I read The House Without a Key by Earl Derr Biggers. Thought it was pretty good. And another one called Charlie Chan Carries On.

For 2023, I've got the first five Nero Wolfe Rex Stout mystery books, and a bunch (8 or 9) of Agatha Christie's Miss Marple books on my shelf. I'm thinking of getting some sci-fi books, too. The one's I'm considering are Tales of the Dying Earth by Jack Vance, Hothouse by Brian W. Aldiss, The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin, and Blindsight by Peter Watts. Not sure if I'll get to them, though. I still have two Star Trek DS9 pocket books that have been on my shelf for a year.

I heard Extraordinary Attourney Woo is really good!

It's very uplifting and heartfelt and a lot of fun. I'd recommend it to anyone. It's on Netflix! So many Kdramas are. I was completely swept up in them last year. Ended up finishing 27 of them. (They're all, usually, 1 season shows. 12-16 episodes.) Goblin transcends the list. Her Private Life/What's Wrong with Secretary Kim are rom com greatness, with the same actress! (Though they were two of the earliest ones I've watched, so I'm biased.) It's Okay to Not Be Okay is unbelievably good. A 10/10. Romcomdrama I guess you'd call it. I gave Extraordinary Attorney Woo a 9/10. I loved it. Everyone loved it. It's a rare show that's getting a second season.

I tried Salmon for the first time and thought it was better than chicken, turkey, ham, etc. But the grey stuff on the bottom of it was freaky and offputting to look at.

That's the fat.

Next you could go really crazy and try crab or lobster.

You mean hard shelled spiders?! ick! Maybe I could try sushi next. The salmon was really good though, just looking at that grey fat I wasn't sure if I messed up cooking it or what. I plan to have it again. It didn't taste like what I imagine fish to taste like. I accidently got served fish sticks instead of chicken fingers once, fish fingers idfk what it was, and it was NOT good. Really turned me off.
