Alia knew this would not be a fight for the faint of heart. Everyone who was taking part had their reasons, their strengths, their weaknesses. She was ready to test her mettle, prove herself. She was ready to take action and to defend herself. There was only one truth that had continued to echo in her thoughts leading up to this moment. There can be only one.

With the sack now off of her head, Alia the Highlander began to survey the surrounding area, taking a keen interest in the ruined tower before her. Not the tallest of tall. Probably won't draw many to it either unless they get close to begin with, but if I can get inside somehow, I could make this my base of operations. Maybe even set up an ambush.

"Let's see what we're working with." Alia walked over to the base of the tower, and started looking for a way to get inside.

Alia will enter the tower, walk up to the chest, and attempt to open it, weary that it could be trapped but unconcerned by that fact.

Alia stretches her back and shoulders and looks at the Lizardfolk. "I guess you're first." She draws her sword and attacks twice.

First Attack:

Alia will swing in a wide angle, her blade singing through the air, aiming to take the creature's head clean off. "There can be only one."

The head of the lizardwoman came to a stop against the wall, and it's body crumpled and spasmed to the ground. It felt, to Alia, as if a newfound sense of power had filled her, strengthened her. She did her best to shrug off this feeling, focused now on the creature's dying words. "What'd she say about a treasure?"

Who dares attempt to steal my treasure?

"That must mean there's more here than meets the eye." Spurred on by this memory, Alia searched the lizardwoman's body, and the surrounding shadowy areas of the tower from whence it came for any signs of this hidden treasure.

Perception Check:

Rolled: 8 (8) [1d20] +2

Despite not finding anything of note within the tower, Alia remained curious about what the lizardwoman meant about the treasure. Perhaps she'd have hidden it around back?

Alia exited the tower and made her way to Q27.

(Can I prepare the attack action, and if anything comes near, I'll attack it with my sword? If so, that. If not, I'll perceive even harder. ^_^)

Alia leaned back against the tower, content to take a minute. "This seems a safe enough spot for now." She still felt the effects of cutting off that lizardwoman's head and the power it had given her. I'll venture out soon enough.

"I must not rest for long, there are battles to be waged and won." Noting nothing more of interest behind the tower, Alia clutched her sword and stepped forward. She needed more information on her surroundings. Scouting further along the edge of the battlefield seemed a prudent idea. Safety at my back, as I try to survey the area.

Alia continued walking, but readied her sword and kept an eye out so as not to be surprised by whatever might be in the bushes.

Alia gripped the hilt of her sword and looked over in surprise at the hulking creature down the road. "A giant!" She'd heard of such beasts but had never taken one's head before. That could change today. This was her chance to strike. Its head will roll.

Alia went into a deadly rage and charged at the giant, making two reckless attacks toward its head.
