You spend another night waiting to cross Snake River, hoping today will finally be the day and you can once again continue on your journey. Your camp near the river feels calm and safe, like nothing bad could possibly happen here.
You all wake up, ready to start a new day and take on the river, when you find Jamie’s lifeless body lying in the dirt.
Jamie has died.

Occupation: Mortician
Role: Pathologist
You know the old saying--every town needs a mortician! Someone’s gotta look at all those dead bodies after all. Well, you’ve made a decent living working with the dead, but now you want a change of scenery on the Oregon Trail. While the trail may be tough, it seems that your skills will come in handy during your travels.
Each night, pick a dead player. You will then receive all PMs that player received.
You are aligned with the TOWN. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
You will start with the following items in your inventory:
-Team of oxen to pull wagon: 4 oxen (need at least 2 to “move” or perform night action)
- Sets of clothing: 2, one for summer and one for winter
- ammunition for your hunting rifle - 1 round (1 round = 1 hunt)
- spare parts for your wagon - 3 parts
- Food - 5 food rations

Mourning the loss of Jamie, you pack up camp and get ready to cross the river. You turn to your leader, farlig, about his decision on how the wagon train will cross the river.
Yesterday, he was presented with the following options:
As the leader, you need to decide how the caravan will cross the river. You have 3 options:
A.) Ford the river
B.) Caulk the wagon and float across
C.)Accept the native’s offer to escort you across the river. The native will decide what they want in return, which will require a sacrifice from every town player.
Farlig decided on C. and accepted the Indian’s help. The Indian asked for two sets of clothing from every emigrant: one for summer and one for winter. These will be deducted from all of your inventories.
However, one emigrant did not have enough sets of clothing to pay the Indian for his help. They have been left on the other side of Snake River. If this emigrant cannot obtain clothing by the end of the day, the wagon train will not reach Fort Boise and the general store will not be open.
If this emigrant does wish to take the risk of fording the river or caulking and floating instead, they may do so at their own peril.

Whelp, emigrants had had enough of the trail's bullshit today. After making it across Snake River, they decided to do things quick and dirty.
"Josh has gotta go!" Everyone yelled in unison.
Little did Brian know, he would unofficially initiate Hammer Time.
Josh has been lynched.

Player: Josh
Role: Wild animals
You may choose from one of the below actions:
Scavenge: Each night you may send buzzards to scavenge an emigrant gravesite. You may select one dead player per night. You will receive that player’s entire PM history.
Ravaged by wolves: If you are sent out for the kill, you will unleash a pack of wolves on this player. They will ravage this player’s body and wagon beyond recognition. You will learn this player’s role, but it will be hidden from the town upon their death announcement. (This is effectively a janitor action). (May only be used once)
Night Owl: Choose a player to silently stalk in the night. You will track that player to see who they visit.
You may not use the same action on back to back nights.
You are aligned with the MAFIA. You win when all threats to the Mafia have been eliminated and your faction makes up at least 50% of the remaining players. |
It is now Night 6. Deadline for night actions will be 6pm EST tomorrow, Saturday May 8. We'll open the day early (as early as tonight) if all actions are in early.

You’ve successfully reached Fort Boise, your last stop before the blue mountains. (Yes, this means everyone made it across Snake River). You decide to stop and rest here to stock up on any supplies you might need.
You may purchase any of the below items from the general store at Fort Boise:
Food ration - $8
Spare wagon part - $12
Set of clothing (either for summer or winter) - $15 per set
Ammunition - $3 per round
In order to purchase any of these items, PM the mod what you’d like to buy along with the quantity and we will add it to your inventory. The total will be subtracted from your current funds.
The deadline for making general store purchases will be approx 12 hours from now, at 12am EST (unless all night actions are submitted earlier and we open the day early).
