Time for another one of these silly polls
This time the year is 2008, a year of excitement, sequels and much, much disappointment. What did you play, what did you enjoy, what did you hate, what do you - 10 years later - still want to play?
Honorable mentions:
Burnout Paradise
Guitar Hero: World Tour
Rock Band 2
Iron Man
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows
Soul Caliber IV
Tomb Raider: Underworld
Civilization Revolution
Need for Speed: Undercover
Army of Two
Lego Batman: The Video Game |

GTA IV - I really did enjoy it for what it was and going from what we were use to with GTA to the HD was pretty cool to experience. Story was very depressing though and I absolutely hated the ending, by far the least satisfied I ever felt playing a Rockstar game. The DLC's were great.
Fallout 3 - Great! This was my first experience with Fallout and I got addicted quick. This is the only Fallout game I've played that I've yet to finish simply because, as typical with Bethesda games, I get distracted by the vast amount of stuff you can do and get lost as far as where I'm at with the story. I stopped playing this at a very pivotal point in the story and unfortuanately never picked it back up as I had this on my 360. I really need to finish it someday!
Saints Row 2 - I've mentioned several times that this is one of my favorite games of all time. The amount of stuff you can DO! and the customization was great from your character to your crib. Such a fun game to play.
Spore - Ehh. I didn't really get into the huge amount of hype on this game which probably made it sucking a bit more neutral to me. I just knew EA was making some weird evolution game and I ARRR'd it to see what it was all about. I thought it was boring and stopped playing.
Mario Kart Wii - Never owned it, but played it a few times at other people's houses.
Gears of War 2 - I had it on PC, I'm pretty sure I Arrr'd it and I have... no idea why. This is literally the only GoW game I've played and I think I stopped playing pretty early in.
Honorable:
Burnout Paradise - The first game I ever got in a humble bundle. Ran like shit on my old Acer computer and I never played it again since I only paid a nickel for it.
Civilization Revolution - Not very good. I was very addicted to the Civ games around the time I got this for 360 and was left very disappointed with this. Played like a mobile game and unsurprisingly, the sequel is a mobile game. |

Actually, I got Mirror's Edge in that very same Humble Bundle that I got Burnout in. Never played it though. And I've long lost the codes to them. |

RANKED:
Left4Dead - Great. Always gonna be a fun coop experience, its aged really well. I want a third one. FUCK Valve!
Mari Kart Wii/Super Smash Brawl - Tie??? I can't choose, maybe an edge to Brawl
Dead Space - Another great one. Another one I don't remember a ton about. Fun though
Gears of War 2 - I don't remember anything about this one but I played it
and uhhhh that's it
I own Fallout 3 and played for about 2 minutes and then never again. I also played the Just Cause 2 free demo a bunch but that's it. I dicked around in one of the Saints Rows. Might've been the second one

I very specifically remember talking about SR2 with you because you really liked the septic truck side mission |
