I haven't paid attention to the offseason/preseason at all but I'm not liking how the Jazz look at all, especially now that we've lost Hayward and Hill. Also really disappointed that we've lost Lyles, I thought he had a ton of potential. I'm intrigued to see how Ricky Rubio meshes in, we need strength on the point. |

Don't they have that rookie that tore up summer league? (Mitchell?) If Hood plays well, and a few others play solid, they'll be solid. Good coaching |
Yes. I'm really looking forward to him. Udoh is a good addition too, Jeff Withey was fucking garbage so it's nice to have another rim protector out there while Gobert is sitting out.
Still haven't watched any preseason games but I've heard good things. |

Gordon Hayward :animal: That was a sick fucking landing, god damn.
I'm so bummed. A lot of people in my town hate him now cause he left the Jazz but he's one of the biggest reasons I got into basketball and I was really looking forward to seeing how he'd do tonight. That absolutely blows. |

Ya that was really gross. The replays are gnarly, it was uncomfortable to watch. I think what was more uncomfortable is seeing the reactions of the players. It just sizes up how big the injury was. 5 minutes into your Celtics career, what a bummer. |
I missed it initially because I was in the kitchen getting something, so I literally walked into LeBron nearly crying and all the fans making :ahoda: faces so I legit thought someone died. |

WHATTA GAME! That 4th quarter D was downright fucking scary from the Jazz. Udoh and Rubio are both amazing additions. I've always really liked Alec Burks so I'm glad he can get more playing time, just hope he stays healthy. And how about JOE JOHNSON! |

I dunno, at half time I was about to post "we have a lot of work to do", but then the Jazz just suddenly kicked it into gear out of nowhere. We went on a 20-4 run with Udoh, Burks and Joe Johnson shining through. Went from being 15 down to 12 up within half a quarter. Lots of crazy steals and blocks. Then the starters got called in and sealed the deal, Nuggets just could not score at the end. |

Jazz are looking great. The Timberwolves loss was a bummer but Hood and Ingles were superb, Gobert had an uncharacteristically bad game. I'm watching the Thunder game now, which I already know the result of thanks to Facebook spoiling me, but Rubio is killing it.
They're a playoff team for sure this year I think, despite the stacked West. |

Man Donovan Mitchell is so fucking good. What a crazy year. Wish the rest of the team would play somewhat consistently to make up for it.
Not too crazy about the Favors/Mirotic trade rumor. |

lol what the fuck is going on. Jazz manhandle the Warriors. Season has been weird. We're constantly upsetting good teams but losing to the fucking Knicks and the Suns.
Didn't catch the game live unfortunately but really wish I did. I can't believe that score. |

And now they're destroying the Spurs. Three straight games with 120+ points from a team who had one of the worst offensive stats in the league for a long time.
Where the fuck did Royce O'Neale come from all the sudden!? These rookies are so good. |

Hood has been inconsistent and heading towards a big payday ... Mitshell doing so well, has made him a little expendable.
Crowder has been decent in the past, he could be solid rotation player going forward.
Rose isn't staying...
Not a great trade, but not a bad one either. At this time! |
lol my post was a little excessive. Although I did hate the idea of Derrick Rose on the Jazz, but eh, he's gone already anyway so who cares. I just had a really soft spot for Hood even though he has been bad this season. I was hoping he'd step up after Gordon left and be a key player for the team but he's dwindled down to the bench and has played super off all year. I'll still really miss the guy though. Also kind of bummed to finally see JJ go but he was gone this upcoming offseason anyway and he's old.
I like Crowder and he's a good player so it's a perfectly fine trade tbh. |

Nine in a row for the Jazz? They're so under the radar ... |
Small market team problems :( They've virtually all been blowouts too. |

Yeah he kind of came out of nowhere. Wasn't being used much but with injuries, he got more playing time and did very well. He's been on the starting lineup more often than not since the Jazz started their win streak and he's been consistently good in every game. I like him a lot.
How about that Dunk Contest!? :dd: |
