Yeah, I was just coming here to say that. I played on my 360 personally and I'm really iffy on whether or not it's worth it to hook it back up. |

They need to make sure you are able to interact with stuff even if it doesn't pertain directly to the story. What I've noticed with some of the newer games (especially Batman) if it is not something/someone you have to deal with to progress the story you either can't interact with it, or it is just a quick meaningless blurb.
The first one was AWESOME at that. |
My favorite was the random barrel you can look at that Lee just goes "hmmmm!" to. |

Is it not out for PS4 or something? I can't find it!!!
Need to rehook my 360 up to get my save information. If it's not on the Playstation Store by the end of the day I may just get it for PC. |

Oh hey it worked.
|
- Chose to stay the night at the junkyard. Knew in my heart it wasn't the best choice, but I wanted to please the kids.
- Killed the driver. Didn't want to risk any chance of him coming back and killing one of us.
- Got locked up. Didn't realize this was even avoidable.
- Went with Eleanor, moreso because of time than because of liking her over Tripp. I actually forsee Tripp being an extremely important character. Eleanor seems like more of a distraction than anything.
- Left with my family. Sorry but story wise it makes zero sense for Javi to stick with Clementime after spending all that time looking for them. |
Oh and my flashback:
|
So I ended up with Jane at Howes with that strange family.
Of course the fucking family stole half our food and ditched us. Not overly surprising, it's exactly what Jane warned us of. Then Clem found Jane hanging from the ceiling and turned with a positive pregnancy test on the floor. God dammit. What a waste. |

- I told David that Kate wanted to leave him. WELL! I didn't think that's exactly what Javi would say (: I thought Javi would just stand his ground with David in the fight rather than take it to THAT level. Almost like when Lee told Kenny to "reason with Larry" and Telltale taking it as "HEY LEE WANTS TO KILL DUCK!" Ugh.
- I surrendered at Prescott. Sorry but we're outnumbered and if anyone learned from Alvin's demise in the second season, you don't fucking shoot when you're outnumbered and your back is against the wall. I had a feeling Francine would die if we did anything else but... then she died anyway. Bleh.
- I trusted Jesus because.... well, he's Jesus. If I didn't know who Jesus was, I probably wouldn't have. But since I already Jesus is a swell man from the comics, then I know to trust him.
- I let Conrad capture Clemetine. Again, I did not want to risk shooting the guy and having him end up kill Gabe or something. Or having to explain why we killed him and end up losing Tripp's trust. We can just play the game with Conrad for now.
- I listened to Max. Once again -- outnumbered and at their mercy.
Boc, I got the same exact flashback. No shit, I thought that person was the little black boy from the Jane ending in Season 2 until I realize it was a girl (: That would have been funny. Cool hat. But disappointingly, I refused to join the New Frontier and... ended up with a brand anyway? Huh?
I dunno, might be a little early but I've been really disappointed with the decisions so far. Don't feel like they lead to much at all and don't have the IMPACT that the first two did. To be fair, I am playing it extremely safe this season. So far the only thing where I had to really think on a decision was whether or not to kill Conrad. |

Nope. Zero. She was very nice the whole time. I was EXTREMELY resistant of her. Didn't even help her get into the shelter. Especially since the game, at that point, had been teaching us to be very distrusting of strangers what with Arvo and the Howe's family fucking us over. All she said was that if I ever needed help, then I could find her later. I basically said whatever. I had zero intentions of having anything to do with her and that was before she even showed me she was new frontier, at which point I was ready to fight her/shoot her if I had to.
Very dumb. I'm sure it'll be explained in the flashback in 3x2 but I'm not too impressed with the decision making in this game at all. The story is great as always, but I don't feel like I'm changing it all that much. |

Anyone else slightly reminded of Borderlands in this game? Just the architecture of Prescott, the look of the NPCs and the Frontier Base and the boarded up cars really gives me that feel.
Man I still have to play that Borderlands Telltale game. |

- Demanded justice for Mariana's murder. I, uh... don't remember what exactly this decision was for but I was pretty straight forward to David over the fact that his daughter was murdered and I brought it up during the meeting I was told to keep my mouth shut in.
- I gave AJ the medicine. No brainer. The fact this was a flashback and I already knew Clem was getting kicked out one way or another made this so much more easier. It was pretty obvious at that point that they kick her out and keep the baby. I'm a little pissed, however, over the fact that I rejected to join the New Frontier in the last episode and there was zero explanation as to why I'm in it now.
- I let CONRAD kill Badger! I was actually quite impressed that Conrad had a presence in this episode and a positive one at that. I loved when he told Javi to let him stay weaponless as an apology for how he acted before with Clem. I gave him the gun anyway, and I'm pretty sure it saved his life during the herd scene. Allowing Conrad to kill his wife's killer was a cool moment and made me happy that I let him live last episode.
- I spared Max to bring back. We needed proof and he was all we had.
- I chose to leave with Kate. This was by far the hardest decision in the episode and possibly the season so far. I felt really bad when David confronted me about it and Gabe's reaction was pretty sad too. Still, we've been protecting Kate all game and it would feel wrong to not continue to do so. I'm extremely conflicted on David and I flip flop with my interactions with him a lot. I'm very undecided on whether or not he'll end up being a prick or if he is truly good. I'm leaning towards the former. Even wtih him being betrayed and kicked out of Richmond and having nothing to do with the raids at all (supposedly), he still possessed a lot of antagonistic qualities that leads me to believe that ultra lame Joan is not going to be the main baddie at the end. All signs point to David snapping and that makes me uneasy to trust him.
Pretty good. Was a little disappointed that there was absolutely zero scenes where you could roam around. The joystick was very rarely ever used except a handful of scenes where you have to walk left or right to move something or sneak on someone. So obviously no optional conversation pieces either, which I still feel is a big part of the series that is missing. |
