I might do this to get a feel for how terrible the game will run on this wonderful computer. |

Yeaaaah, I'm definitely going to mod the fuck out of this. I like that you can body sculpt by dragging and that they finally made hats into accessories and not a completely different hairstyle. No color wheel pisses me off and why in the world would they get rid of the pattern maker? That was one of the best features of TS3 to make everything have it's own unique look.
Anyway here's a terrible looking me. Don't know why the screenshot got so mashed.

Apparently there are already mods for this and people figuring out how to take the premade sims, strip them naked and rerelease them in the public gallery |
Dear god, are people putting bits on them already? |

I had the same exact problem with hair color.
Also why the fuck did they remove the feature to make different parts of the hair different colors? Come on, EA.
I haven't even read the features until today. 8 fucking careers total, really? No pools because "it's difficult to program while we have other great stuff being done!"? Holy shit.

Why would they even remove Toddlers? I get they were a pain in the ass to play with but shit, that's sort of an important age jump. That's some serious Sims 1 shit.
Looks like open world has been dumped too which is... baffling. That was like the biggest improvement for TS3. I understand some people liked having control of one household but I personally loved the big town feeling of TS3 and switching from household to household on a whim with Awesomemod's shift+click. Families I didn't care about I could just ignore until maybe their offspring was interesting enough to play around with. Nrass' story progression tied it all into a really neat bun.
What exactly is the upgrade here? Sims walk differently and we can make their noses bigger by dragging them? That's about all I'm seeing. Seems they've taken a lot more away than added. |

I've actually been enjoying TS2 since it was released for free but it annoys me cause I'm so use to TS3 and it's open world. And TS3 runs like utter shit on this computer unfortunately which always ends up in my long term saves being nuked. Bleh. |

TS3 base game runs fine on my piece of shit $200 laptop. It's just I can't contain myself from getting all the expansions and custom content that makes it blow up. |

I'm glad I read this thread. I'd rather not have my eyes see something that has me rocking in a corner. |
