Hello everybody. I know this is a shock seeing that I am making a thread. But I figured that I would give you a bit of a life update and how this can affect me going with certain things. So, back in April I began selling my house which sold in September along with the purchase of my new house a week later. So I had been getting the house set up during that time, along with working my usual night shift work. Fast forward into December now as nothing spectacular went on October and November. I decided that I was essentially done with the way my Department and their ideologies were going for so I decided to look for another job. I interviewed and passed the interview and signed the acceptance letter last Friday. I am still with the same company, but I will not be in the Railroad side of the Company. I also will no longer be a Supervisor, but a Quality Assurance worker dealing with Departmental Audits.
I will be starting that job officially January 30 of this year. During that time, my fiancée had caught COVID and being unable to isolate from her, I had also gotten it. Both of us are fine and never had to be admitted as we are both back to work.
So, how does it affect what I deal with here? So, I will be like a majority of you all here and work the same kind of hours, along with not dealing with unexpected call ins to report it earlier than I need or want to be in. Thus allowing me a much more stabilized schedule. Meaning that I will be able to return to Mafia in a more capacitive role and be around more consistently.
TL;DR I moved, got a promotion, feeling like a comeback is in the works. | Hey man. Hope you’re doing well |
