“You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth” (A Hot Summers Night) by Meatloaf.

WITH THE INTRO. it’s only 20 seconds and it sets the stage for the song.

I think I liked your first song so much because it reminded me of Meatloaf Havo

That song was written by Jim Steinman. He wrote most of Meat Loafs big hits.
There ya go.

Another little tidbit about “Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young”

That song is on the Soundtrack to the 1983 movie Streets of Fire.
When I was stationed in South Korea I went to a local music store to buy the album. They had it but that song was not on it. It was omitted. I was completely puzzled as to why it wasn’t on it. So my Korean girlfriend informed me that the Government sensored certain music. Anything they felt could cause an uprising of the population especially young people. So they banned that song. Lol.
I didn’t realize that the South Korean Govt was that paranoid. Of course that was early 90’s. IDK if it’s still banned.

I can’t find this on Apple Music. And that’s what I use.

Any ideas?

Is it a classical piano concerto?

And I don’t believe this contains the Intro to the song I selected. The Intro is a must.

Is this it for #4?

I ran through all except Mercs once.

Looking like only 4 or 5 I like this time.

Specifically this live video of it. I love the end when they all start jamming

You know this could be sold as Rockabilly right?

And a chick playing steel guitar, lol, damn I could drink a cold beer and listen to this band all night. Easy.

This list was probably my least favorite, but mainly due to quite a few rap songs. Just isn’t my thing.

IMO -

1) Midnite train to Georgia, such a great song, nice pick Hodie, you done it.
2) What’s Goin On? Zebrahead, I had never heard this or of that band. I liked it a lot and will add it to my music collection and check out there other stuff for sure.
3) Jive Babe, had never heard it, but found it to be quite good. Curtis continues to select songs I like, IDK what to make of that. Lol.
4) Roll Up, again hadn’t heard it, but was quite enjoyable to me.

Nothing else really stood out to me, the Jeff Beck song was Okay. I really liked the music in Yesterday and the start, but then that dude started rapping and I was like, nope. The Rover started out good also and wasn’t bad but it got so repetitive I kind of went numb to it.
I’m looking forward to the next one, I hope everyone keeps it up.

I definitely see your point Curtis, but IDK where to really draw the line.

When Wikey nominated that Faces/ Rod Stewart song I kinda felt the same way. It’s a classic and proven to be a popular song.

What’s to keep everyone from nominating just great classic songs?

I think maybe it’s just a personal choice.

And of course we can always choose to decline to vote a “Classic” song just for those reasons. Which is probably what I will lean towards. But Ahoda felt like he needed a win. Lol.

I’d rather not have a bunch of rules regarding this, I’d prefer peeps just nominate What they like and want.

Oh it wouldn't matter anyway. Jive Babe only got a single vote? :o

Yeah, that was my vote. You’re welcome Curtis.
