I was asked to nom a movie, so I know things are getting desperate. Lol.
I’ve seen all the movies nominated except Carol.
All good movies,
Green book - a pleasant surprise, good story, good acting.
Easy Rider - out of context it’s way overrated, it’s a period piece.
Tombstone - I’ve seen at least 10 times, just epic.
Starman - probably way out dated now, but was quite good then.
I have the urge to nominate an old movie but I know you guys aren’t up for that, The 3rd Man, my favorite old movie staring Orson Welles is soo good, but I know it doesn’t have enough action, sex and violence to keep your attention. Streets of Fire would be good, lots of action and violence but cheesy acting and you guys wouldn’t appreciate the music in it, except for maybe Curt and Boc.
So I nominate - Fallen 1998
Homicide detective John Hobbes witnesses the execution of serial killer Edgar Reese. Soon after the execution the killings start again, and they are very similar to Reese's style.
Great cast, interesting story and Denzel.
