Yeah this is like the only casting that could have possibly been announced to make me okay with Dourif not returning.

I mean... I'm pretty sure I know, but I don't want to. Mark Hamill is just doing a near perfect imitation of Dourif which is really weird, thought they would do something different. Unless it was Dourif's decision to not be in this film and that was their solution, I dunno.

Didn't really expect there to be what looks like a Stranger Things style angle to the storyline, but it makes sense given the success of the formula.

He looks fucking terrible, no sugar coating that. I don't personally mind them going with the rogue AI angle - that seems to be a big sticking point with a lot of people but whatever.

Slap a few lingering nude scenes for Chucky and they could have gotten Willem Dafoe to play the part as himself.
