Deep Blue Sea also has an evil shark in the movie, but it's not horror.

it is tho

I feel like people just don't see murderous smart animal movies as horror.

If Jaws was a movie about a serial killer wearing a shark fin on his back, chilling in the ocean killing people maybe the opposition would be more open to it being horror.

Resident Evil was a great survival horror game until they introduced Neptune and turned it into a slapstick sharkcom.

Hang on here. Jaws is Horror, but Deep Blue Sea is not. Edit: It doesn’t matter though. I don't think everyone's being serious.

I mean, it's harder to argue against Deep Blue Sea being horror than Jaws, because Deep Blue Sea is tagged as horror in Wikipedia, imdb, etc. where Jaws is not.

I can't believe there was an argument that Alien isn't horror.
