I come in on the other side in saying City > Asylum, but the arguments for Asylum being superior I can definitely see. And it does seem to be the popular opinion.
Everything being more contained and less sprawling in the first one gave it a certain feel that kind of went out the window in the sequel where you're flying all over a city with snipers firing at you, stumbling across seemingly random villains. But I love me some seemingly random villains.
Origins came out not that long ago - but it is made by a different company. I believe Rocksteady is working on a true sequel to City. I have not played Origins yet, or the 3DS version. Which is apparently different. | Yeah, with the various villains kind of acting as your contacts in GTA. | And boy howdy, if you like Riddler trophies... |
