Meant to mention I tracked Headhunters down. Haven't watched it, but I've got a copy.

I love horror movies, especially during October. One of my favorites to watch is the Tales from the Crypt movie Demon Knight. Really fun movie. This year I'm trying to get a hold of mostly new horror movies that I haven't seen that have gotten decent enough reviews instead of decking the halls with the classics.

Innkeepers is one of the movies I have put back. I really dug House of the Devil. Especially the scene with "One Thing Leads to Another" - was on the edge of my seat during the whole scene. I liked the "when is something going to happen" feeling in that movie, when it usually bores me.

Somehow I didn't notice that link the first time I read this.

You've more than likely seen it, but Slither is great. Troll Hunter was pretty cool, liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I didn't really like the Host, but after a certain point I wasn't paying it full attention. The "classics" on the list go without need of comment.

Seeing your 'review' on Innkepers earlier and now seeing it at number one on this list makes me excite.

The Evil Dead remake was aces.

I'll take Cabin over Tucker and Dale, but loved both. Neither of them were exactly subtle.

I kind of want to do a Scream marathon now, but I don't know if I own any of them anymore.

I was so high on the soundtrack to 3 back in the day that it gets a good faith pass from me. I don't really remember anything about the second one. Scream Blu Ray Set - I need to grab this at some point, glad to see it's finally back in stock. There's a 15 dollar set but it doesn't have 4 in it. Probably cheaper to get it and buy 4 separately, but I'm a sucker for a box set.

If he doesn't have coke smeared on his nose and the WCW Heavyweight Championship around his waist I might feel a little ripped off. That's my only worry with purchasing the set.

I would love to suggest some horror movies for a kid, but my POV is a little warped. My parents would give me a sippy cup, turn on Hellraiser and play poker in the kitchen while I worked on my torture fetish at age four.

Maybe Tremors or Beetlejuice? Or something like Little Monsters/Monster Squad? Those last two might skew a little younger than you're looking though.

Eight Legged Freaks? Critters/Ghoulies/Gremlins?

Trying to think of movies that are lighthearted but still horror.

I don't think any of those would be bad choices at all. I was playing it really safe with my mentions.

Hellraiser 3 is coming on AMC in about an hour. Going to give it a watch and hope it's still somewhat enjoyable. They're running Slither tomorrow sometime. I need to cop that up on Blu Ray sometime soon, so fun.

Well, I still enjoyed it, but the cenobites were p. damn lame compared to the original ones. Camera-eye cenobite? CD throwing cenobite? Forget these clowns and bring back Butterball.

Dude was that good? I was trying to watch it one night when I fell asleep. I only saw like the first five minutes of it rolling around. Seemed like the greatest movie ever.

I'm watching Mama and it's freaking me out.

Jaime Lannister needs to whip this things ass.

Chastain was lookin' so fine. Mama was an angry ass.

Watching The Orphan. I remember reading that something crazy happens at the end, but I don't remember what that thing was.

Ugh I hate this girl so much.

If this movie doesn't end with this girl getting her head blown off I'm going to be so frustrated.

I guess that ending will have to do.
