Our culture is so fucked. Such a huge percentage of the population is in the "I don't work, my family doesn't eat" bracket. For them staying home isn't really an option, so instead of helping them, we try to downplay a fucking pandemic.

Went to Walmart. Dog food is picked clean, out of canned goods and pasta, workers all wearing dust masks like they do something.

Kind of surreal.
