I used to play a lot, but my daughter got to a certain age and I gave it up for about 10 years in favor of her activities. Now I play 8 to 10 times a season if I'm lucky. 2 to 3 customer tourneys a year and an odd round here and there. Love the game, but am doing well if I play bogey golf these days. It's a maddening game that can never be mastered.

It's a maddening game that can never be mastered. I wish I got to play that much. In college, I would routinely shoot upper 70s-low 80s, but that was as good as I got. If you haven't had a chance, play a round at elevation. It's fun :)

I have heard it is fun at elevation. That was about as good as I ever got too. High single digits. Some nice hill courses around me, but nothing at real elevation. Once your kids hit college, maybe you can pick it back up again.

I hit the ball ok most of the time, but so much shorter than I used to, and don't have the free hours it takes to hone a good short game anymore, so it's just a good excuse to walk around outside these days.
