Someone being jailed would not normally be reported as surviving an attack because they weren't home to be attacked.

Since we know DS was blocked and rose was saved I can only see maddie being a mafia JOAT or using a scum buddies role (mafia doctor?) to support her claim if rose isn’t the other godfather. The surviving a kill while jailed is a bit odds. Going to go read how that part of the role normally works.
