The year is 1910, and immigrants are pouring into Ellis Island by the boat load. The promise of a new life and new beginnings are quickly cut out of their minds once they are allowed to walk out of the immigration office at the island. Poverty, slums, and the lack of jobs have made the immigrants create clicks and gangs in order to survive. Some have turned into a life of crime to feed their families. Who has the courage to survive? Who has the wherewithal to put an end to the crime wave running rampant through the City of New York?
