Rx (Medicate) - NO California Love - YES Lightning Crashes - YES Inside Out - NO? Bulls On Parade - NO Bleed It Out - YES Bad Company - YES Forever and Ever, Amen - YES? lol One of these songs is not the like others.

I let my wife pick one of the songs, which also happened to be our wedding song. I'll give you a hint: it's not Bulls on Parade.

Leaving the best for last, let's go!

Rx (Medicate) by Theory of a Deadman
--I'm not sure why, but I just love this song. Will it make the top 5, I'm honestly not sure.

California Love by 2Pac
--Teenage me loved blaring this song on the crappy factory speakers in the ol' Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera.

Lightning Crashes by Live
--Another one that takes me back to my youth. Great song.

Inside Out by Eve 6
--Not sure if I like this song more just because I know all the lyrics. It'll be close to making top-5

Bulls On Parade by Rage Against The Machine
--High school me was all about R.A.T.M. I just love their sound and energy. Definite top-5 from this list. Was definitely mad when they broke up before I got to the age where I could travel on my own to see them in concert.

Bleed It Out by Linkin Park
--RIP Chester. Been a fan of Linkin Park since before Hybrid Theory came out. Their earlier stuff was definitely better, imo, and this short, quick energy burst is one of my favorites. I think my favorite songs from LP are the ones where Mike Shinoda factors heavily into the vocals.

Bad Company by Five Finger Death Punch
--This is the song that turned me onto FFDP, which is probably my favorite group at the moment. Even though it is a cover, I just love this version of this song.

Forever and Ever, Amen by Randy Travis
--The first song my wife and I danced to at our wedding, so it has a ton of sentimental value to me. That said, I hate most country music.

I'm surprised by how many people have never heard Lightning Crashes. I thought that song was huge when it came out. Definitely my favourite on this playlist. I had thoughts to use it on a future playlist. Also, Spin...you didn't vote for the song that your wife chose??! That has sentimental value because it's your wedding song??! :P I'm telling. Although you likely let her choose the song in the first place for your wedding, so I guess that counts.

When I think 'Favorite Song' I think something I want to hear over and over again. I'm ok not hearing that song over and over again.

I also threw that song in solely to get one country representative in this playlist, just to test to see if people liked it or not.

This experiment also caused me to learn that Garth Brooks does not allow his songs to be posted to Spotify.
