I’m the only Metal fan here other than u bud that I’m aware of. I don’t nominate songs that I know will be hated on tho. This group ain’t into Metal or Country. However that Down Low song definitely fits into a country genre. If you’re gonna try and get them to accept Metal, you need to ease them into it. Lol. I personally have some hatred in my soul for Metallica, because I was full bore in love with Queensryche and their Empire album back in the early 90’s and it was getting the cred that band deserved and then Enter Sandman came out and that’s all anyone wanted to talk about or hear and QR got relegated to the dust bin. Same reason I HATE Nirvana. I do like quite a few Metallica songs tho.

I don't specifically nominate songs I think people will hate. I normally try to nominate a new-ish song that I heard on the radio so I can listen to it a couple more times to decide if I like it or not. I've listened to the Metallica song I posted once, in the car, with a screaming kid in the back. I have no idea if I'll like it or not*.

*That said, Metallica's last S&M album set was the best stuff they've put out since the mid-80s. I just love the combination of the hard rock music with the orchestral music, so I'm looking forward to their newest release.

If we all liked the same music, it would be very difficult to vote for only a few songs :P

From my point of view, the majority of you all like very similar music.

Just gave this playlist a listen through. It started off ok, and kept getting better, peaking with the Metallica song (even though this isn't close to one of my favorites of them), taking a definite left-turn with the Pink song (good, but what a weird transition), and then falling right off a cliff.

Voted for: Crash Test Dummies, CCR, and Metallica.

I really want there to be playlists where there are three songs I like more than my own. I just looked back tonight (to inventory the songs I've nominated before), and that's happened once. So, it is possible.

Your song was definitely the highlight of the last 4 on the list.

I feel like I could consistently pick songs the majority of the group would like by just staying in a couple of genres. But it would be stuff I don’t particularly enjoy so that’s not quite the point of this. Lol. But I also think Spin has the least diverse taste in music of everyone here. Merc always nominates what seems to be some weird heavy shite that try’s to creep into your subconscious and give you nightmares, but I still think his taste is more diverse than Spins.

My tastes are very diverse! They just don't include elevator music, which is a personal favorite of half of FE.
