Just as the clock was about to strike midnight, Holly Gennero saw her opportunity. The terrorists were off chasing her husband and they were not paying much attention to the few remaining hostages. She waited for the right chance, and she ran quickly to the stairwell. She started heading up the stairs to try to find a working phone in one of the other office suites in the building.

It was at about the 33rd floor that she heard exchanging gunfire. She stood outside the door until it stopped. Not sure what to expect, she quietly opened the door and stepped into the room. This was definitely a mistake.

Hans Gruber, who had been hiding behind a desk by the door immediately saw Holly step into the room. He quickly grabbed her and walked towards the broken out window.

"Look what I found here. John, you may want to put down your gun if you want to save your wife" he said.

John looked up from his cover, and was mortified to see Hans holding a gun to Holly's head.

"Hans, we don't need to hurt anyone else. Why don't you and I give it a go, and let the girl go?" John pleaded.

"Let her go, you say? Sure, I can do that."

And with that Hans let her go...right out the open window. Poor Holly fell 33 floors to meet her end on the pavement below.

John was in shock. Hans Gruber, a man who to this point had been fairly reasonable, had just pushed his wife out a window.

"Hans....why?" he stammered, falling to his knees on the floor, dropping his gun at the same time.

"You gave me no choice, cowboy. Maybe now you will finally stop."

But John wouldn't stop. Hans did not see the extra gun John had taped to his back. John slowly started to stand back up and began to reach for his back...

On the other side of the room, Theo had just come up. He'd broken the seal on the safe, and wanted to find Hans to let him know they were good to go. He walked in to see John slowly rising up from the ground and reaching for his hidden gun. Theo pulled out his pistol quickly and fired two rounds, hitting John square in the back.

Hans looked down at John McClaine, dead and bleeding out on the floor.

"Thanks Theo."

"No problem. We got into the safe, and you got to come check it out!" Theo said, excitedly.

So the two of them headed to the elevator, punched the button for the basement level, and the doors slowly closed behind them. While they had lost a number of their comrades tonight, they had finally gotten what they had come for. Better yet, there were less people now to share the spoils with!

Wikey attacked Nav last night, and he survived (his 1x BP power).

He tried to give you his cookie last night, but Nav killed him first.

The only person that got "roleblocked" with the cookie was Nav, on a night when he didn't take an action. I was really hoping Jamie ate it, but he passed it to Nav to set up the Mason claim.

The Lamps kill N1 was big, as he would have received the list of names from im317, which had Jamie, Christian, and Josh on it, and both Christian and Josh had pretty easily provable Town roles.

Here's the list of people Curtis would have found to be vanilla: TIB, Havo, Farlig, Nav, Herm, Penner, and Badger.

There was one more connection that got missed in my absence. Karl (Jamie) was supposed to convert into a Mafia Terrorist in the case where his brother Tony (Primate) died. In the end, I don't think it would have made much difference on the outcome as Jamie would have just blown up sooner instead at the end of the day.

As life has gotten crazy over the last week or so, I seem to have forgotten to do a HOF/HOL type ranking of people, so here's a very short one.


HOF:
Josh - his scum list early in the game was almost perfect, and he drew the mafia's kill that night, which only served to deliver the presents faster, leading eventually to Jamie blowing himself up.

Nav/Jamie - for coming up with, and breadcrumbing early, the mason claim, thanks to the cookie from Christian. It worked to their advantage until it was too late to do anything about it, leading to a mafia win.

Buffy - was pretty instrumental in the mafia's success

HOL:
Penner - for no killing on N1 as the SK. The whole job of the SK is to kill. The only way a SK wins is by killing. Penner got annoyed with Badger for not signing up in the private forum, and decided to stay home. It doesn't really matter that it ended up working ok due to Wikey spewing out Brian's list immediately.

Primate @ 20/12/2019 21:06 I shook that gift I swapped with penner and it started ticking, so I dumped it off. ROFL. The gift Primate just took from Penner is the one that would start ticking (the alarm clock).

Only two people ever ate Christian's delicious cookies, and neither of them used actions on the nights following, so the roleblock aspect never came into play.

After Nav posted the mafia actions prior to the end of D5, which included Jamie carrying out the kill:
