Antonio Brown is refusing to play football because he doesn't want to wear a new type of helmet. Add this to his frostbitten feet, and it feels like he's going out of his way to torpedo my long-standing fantasy team before the season even starts.

I’m shocked he’s hanging them so young |
Dude just can't get healthy. I bet we'll see him unretire in a couple of seasons, if the health returns.

Weird, I always thought the best course of action was to try to publicly humiliate your boss?

I'm impressed it took less than a week for Brown to pick up the criminal aspect of the Patriot Way.

They’re actually kinda stinky today |
Kind of?
Buffalo should have won that game.

I think I'm about 1 week from giving up on the NFL season for 2019. The Steelers are bad, and the Vikings can't throw a forward pass.

If Brady played back in Havo and Primate’s floppy paper helmet days he would be a beast and would be their all time favorite player to this day and I think we all know it |
Based on what they've done with the coaching staffs and rosters they had around them...
Montana > Brady
But he might be the only one. All the titles puts Brady at a solid #2 of QBs during my lifetime, ahead of Manning, Elway, etc.

Belichick made Matt Cassel look good lol. That season is singlehandedly the biggest knock against Brady cuz it's the only glimpse at this Patriots team without him
|
And Belichick is 41-55 as head coach before Brady showed up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
WORTH NOTING! |
Cleveland. Browns.

should Edelman be in by that logic?
Both above-average but not great players who happened to shine in some big games while mostly being carried by great teams up to those points |
No, because he isn't a white QB.

If Eli's last name wasn't Manning, he never gets the chance to be in those super bowls. He'd have been relegated to backup duty way before then.

He’s only won 1 SB MVP.
You can make a reasonable argument that anybody can win it once.
I don’t get a vote obviously, but IMO winning it twice should get you in when you’ve had a pretty decent career. |
yeah but he has the most career playoff receptions/yards behind Rice |
'Most playoff _____' stats are entirely a function of team success. Of all the WRs that have played in the postseason, I'm not sure I'd even put Edelman in the top 20 as far as impact goes.

to be clear I'm not actually making an argument for Edelman being in (: But I do think the case for Eli is awfully similar to someone like Edelman, two good-not-great players that were just along for the ride til they had the chance to shine in some big moments |
Havo's just all about Manning, because he's a "good southern boy". If Manning was from California, Havo would have disowned him 20 years ago.

What part of “I’m not an Eli fan by no means” don’t you understand?
|
You are the one saying he's a HOFer.
