I want the Rams to win, because fuck the patriots. But that wasn't the poll question. The question is "who will win" and that answer is obviously the Patriots because the NFL has a fix in for them, and they never lose. Plus, you know the refs will make at least one call against the Rams to "make up" for the one against the Saints.

As a life-long Vikings fan, who's teams are a combined 0-4 in the Super Bowl, I extend a hearty Fuck You to the Patriots organization. Can you let someone else win, please?

I think the real winner tonight was the Bud Light/GoT joint commercial.

I miss defense. I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t like these high scoring offenses |

And the way they keep star players from reaching their full earning potential, so they can stack more talent on the roster than most other places, definitely doesn't hurt.

Brady takes pay cuts to better the team!!!
What a guy |
And if he hadn't, they'd have cast him off and replaced him with Jimmy G, and nothing would have changed.

You can’t honestly believe that |
It's a system. The system works, and works incredibly well. I don't doubt that it would still be successful had Jimmy G been handed the keys to the offense.
By talent alone, Tom Brady, today, is not a top-10 QB talent in the NFL. But, his experience in that system, and the game plans of that system, make him one of the most prolific QBs today.

I like the cowboys, but am not delusional enough to think Emmitt Smith was top 3 among cowboy HB's, let alone all time, all NFL. I don't think Aikman was a top 50 QB all time, let alone top 5. Those guys won a lot of Superbowls and were it not for the niners would have won a lot more, but that doesn't make them Johnny U and Jim B. |
Vikings fans say you're welcome.
Any day now Herschel Walker is going to get his place in the ring of honor. Any day now.

Brady does have a lot of the X-factor things, *(poise, leadership, focus, etc...) that make up for a lot of the natural arm talent that he doesn't have, so talent alone can't be looked at without including his mental makeup.
Not sure there would have been no difference with Jimmy Grapes. Brady's experience and mental side probably won them a few games that maybe Jimmy wouldn't have. |
I never said there would be no difference. I said they'd still be successful if Brady wasn't there. Most NFL QBs can throw the 5 yard pattern to Edelman 20 times a game too. lol

Spin with the worst take of 2019 |
Tom Brady is a very good QB.
Is he the best QB ever? No. I'd say Peyton or maybe even Brees, just from this generation are better quarterbacks. Is Tom the most successful and accomplished quarterback of all time, of course he is. He deserves his place in the list of all-time greats for the longevity, the stats, and the team successes.
But if I'm making a Madden All-Time roster, he's not even in my 3-deep at QB.

Brady’s got all those intangibles that can’t be weighed
He’s the clutchest QB ever. No better person to close out a game
THE GOAAAAATTTTTTTT |
Neutral field, playoff game on the line, I'll take Montana over Brady.
If you weren't so young, and so Bostonian, you'd agree with me.
