It makes it harder to setup a favorable matchup for your favorites if you don't know the next round matchups. | | |

To be real for a second, if the goal is to determine a single winner, and that's it, then completely random matchups all the way through is just fine. If second is just as good as thirty-second, then it doesn't matter if the top two face in the first or last rounds. | | |
