Southern greens = green beans with bacon and seasoning? How is that gross compared to green beans?

No, greens are things like Turnip Greens and other similar "lettuce-like" things that get boiled with a ham hock or something for like ever before you eat them.

There was a BBQ joint in Tucson that made a Deviled Egg Potato Salad. It was awesome.
