Since Curtis stole my POTD question for shits and giggles, here goes.
You are hungry for barbecue. You decide on the Two-Meat combo plate. What two meats do you pick?
Also, stay tuned for next week, when we investigate everybody's favorite side dishes...

Dammit, I knew I forgot one. My local place doesn't do burnt ends. I'll add it now.

Pulled pork and beef ribs.
Are rib tips like burnt ends? |
That's what I assumed. |
Rib tips are typically pork, and I believe its the end caps from the pork spare ribs.
Burnt ends are from the "point" portion of a beef brisket.
They are not the same thing.

For the okra haters is it the texture or flavor?
|

Plus anyone who can get soy sauce to their mouth without gagging doesn't get to tell me what's good. |
Soy sauce is fine- I 'm guessing you only had cheap soy sauce that's in the little chinese food packets (mostly crap and HFCS) or Kikkoman. There are some Korean soy sauces with anise that are fantastic.
|
Soy sauce contains a mold that my gag reflex literally won't let me smell for very long. If it's used sparingly and buried in other flavors I can eat a little of it.
Where do you stand on cilantro? |
Cilantro may be one of the best herbs out there. I put that shit on everything.

WHERE IS THE CRAWFISH BOIL OPTION |
You find me one BBQ restaurant that has "crawfish boil" on the menu, and I'll add it in as an option.
This isn't a poll about "things I cook in my backyard" its about order food at an establishment that makes and sells food.

It looks like its a Louisiana seafood joint, that happens to do BBQ occasionally. But, it's probably close enough. My bad, I left crawfish boil out. Probably because seafood is nasty.

Isn't crawfish more creekfood than seafood? |
Spin only eats the rare and elusive deep sea crawdads hand caught by Jim while Marlin Perkins narrates. |
Actually, I don't eat any seafood/creekfood because it all tastes nasty.
