I'm looking forward to watching as many events as I can. The only ones I have no interest in is Figure Skating and Ice Dancing. Guess which ones will be on the most?

Canada defeated USA this morning in Mixed Curling.

Switzerland is the only team to win both games, while Finland has lost both. All others are 1-1 through two rounds of play.

After being a beast in the first game, Matt Hamilton had a terrible game against Canada. I think the chances of a medal are high for that U.S. pairing.

Moguls were fun to watch. Can never tell what's good and what's not though

From what I can tell, it's 3 things: 1) Go fast, 2) land your jumps, and 3) keep your knees together, probably in that order of importance.

wow, what a choke job

They gave that game away. Hopefully it doesn't cost them a spot in the medal round.

This may be the first thing you've said I agree with.

I'm always right bro, just takes some people a while to realize it

And just like that, the feeling of agreement went away. Thanks.

Note to self: if you can't watch the events live, DO NOT check this thread until after you catch up.

Fucking spoilers.

Luge and Speed Skating have been my favorite to watch so far. Cross-country skiing (all the versions, including biathlon) are a close third. Looking forward to the Alpine Skiing events (if the wind ever stops) and the Bobsled.

Having a sick child at home all week has killed my chance to catch up on olympics during the day. I'm also about done with the stupid Disney Channel shows.

With all the events that have happened since last night (CT), what is the NBC network of channels showing right now?

NBCSN: Ice Dancing
NBC: Ladies Downhill PRACTICE

WTF? There isn't anything better to show than skiing practice?

I completely retract my comments from last night. Who knew Ice Dancing could be, so, umm, titillating?

lol, that was awesome. Very proud of her, own it and move on. Shit happens.

If you haven't seen the CBC analysis of the event, you should. It's pretty funny.
