I very rarely access by phone. The skinny ones just waste so much space, its inefficient.

It wouldn't be so bad if the text color was so close to the background color. My old eyes need the sharp contrast that 'Black as Night' provides. White text on black background is about all I need.

That said, the artwork and colors look cool in that new skin and remind me of playing Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries. I may have to get that out today and play with the kids.

I just cycled through all the potential skins again, and found a couple that aren't as bad as I remembered.

Cirque de Joie -- while not being as wide as my favorites, the text choice is easy to read, and also seems a bit bigger than the standard default, which is nice on old eyes. Plus, the dark gray/white/red scheme is easy to read. I might consider this one if all the "other" links weren't white and fading into the striped background.

Aurora -- I like the green/black background, but the green text is hard to read. Maybe a change to white (or another light color) would improve it to useable.

TWD -- If I were to pick a narrow skin, this might be the one. Good color scheme and easy to read and distinguish all the quotes/buttons.

Red Menace -- The bolding and enlarging of the names in the quote boxes is weird, but the rest works pretty well. Well, other than the link to the forum being almost invisible between the last post and the reply box.
