The house I grew up in was surrounded on three sides by fields, which alternated corn and soybeans each year. I also drove across Nebraska many many times while in college.

I've met my corn field quota for life by now.

Hate is such a strong word. I'm ambivalent to the midwest, and it's more of a general dislike for the South. The West is nice (basically anywhere I've been between the Rockies and California).

I tried to tell people this, but they either ignored me or used it as ammo to lynch you more.
