The remaining four children gathered together in the pumpkin patch after the death of Schroeder to reassess the situation. It had been almost a week since the heinous death of Shermy, but the group finally felt like they had accomplished something. A strange sense of call overcame the group, despite being surrounded by the dead remains of so many of their dear friends.

As they began to converse, something shiny caught Marcie's eye. "Hey everyone, look over here" she said.

As they moved closer, they saw a small card sitting in the pocket of Franklin's pants, that they must have overlooked before. Linus picked it up and tried reading it.

"This looks like it says something about acting lessons? What do you think that means?" he stated, obviously confused.

Violet also looked closer at Franklin, and they discovered very quickly that all of his nurse's equipment were cheap knock-offs. "I bet he wasn't even a nurse at all!" she exclaimed.

"I knew it" said Peppermint Patty. "He was part of the evil Pumpkin group, wasn't he!"

The four children all looked at each other, and began to ask each other where their allegiances lie. As they all emphatically showed their support for Shermy, and all of their other dead friends, it became obvious, the scum among them had finally been eradicated.

It was at this point that a large pumpkin began to rise out of the patch and into the twilight sky.

"You may have stopped my followers this time, but I'll be back! There are plenty of children out there who still believe in me!" shouted the pumpkin as it flew off into the distance.

"So, Linus, do you still believe in the Great Pumpkin?" Violet asked him.

"Believe? Of course, you just saw him, he's definitely real. But, he's not the person I thought he was, so this is the last time I'll be back to this pumpkin patch." Linus stated, confidently.

With that, the group walked off into the sunset together, happy that the current ordeal was finally over. Or was it....

I needed visiting roles that didn't gain info to make Dadd's role more useful. Turns out, you guys are all really good at lynching/killing visiting roles early.

Yeah, directly copy/pasting role info from epic mafia led me to "misphrase" your role. :P

My 30 second interpretation of the Actress role was "the character learns the role to use if killed". I was just going to do this until you asked what your targets role was on D2. It was at that point, that I could see an interpretation of the wording that would make you think you were a rolecop too. So, I gave you more power than you should have, and allowed the role cop interpretation.

Nothing was misphrased.

General commentary:

When setting up the game, I just went simple. I went to epicmafia and looked through the power roles to find ones I hadn't used before (mostly). This led to the Nurse, Actress, Ghoul, Psychic, Siren, and Medusa roles. The only ones of that group that even did anything was the Nurse/Actress, and if it had been anyone other than DS with the Actress role, I doubt it would have played out like it did.

The town did an awesome job of outing VTs early, so the other people could pick off all the PRs first.

I tried to make it quick and have likely multiple kills per night (Mafia + Vig + potential Ghoul + potential Medusa), and it never worked.

Nav was saved from death twice, once by the Mafia Hooker (N1) and once by the Town Nurse (N3). The other night he killed the mafia goon, so it wasn't all bad.

The mafia team was probably the lolsiest mafia team that could have been rolled from those who signed up. 3 people who are always scum (DS, Sock, Mittens) + Dadd. I audibly laughed when I saw random.org pick that distribution. Curtis getting the Hunter was definitely a waste, as nobody lynches him.

Damnit Josh, you boned Dadd pretty hard, when he went out of his way to kill you before you could share your info. Maybe check the thread before drunk posting next time.

If we polled the group pre-game, and you were asked to guess the 4 people that would be scum, I'm pretty sure you'd have been selected by the group. Along with Mittens and Sock, most likely...lol.

Quick/dirty HOF/HOL -- it'll be small because it was a short game, and I probably already forgot half of what I was planning on putting here.

HOF
TIB -- had pretty good reads all game, and lived to the end.

DS -- Played the Actress role about as well as you could expect. Got REAL LUCKY he claimed Doctor D1 and then actress'd Herm N2, but it took focus off the rest of the obv scum for a bit and got town to focus on lynching a town PR

Josh -- Tracked mafia twice in four nights, and was able to verify Nav being blocked N1.

HOL
Random.org -- for putting Sock, DS, and Mittens all on the same scum team

Dadd and Mittens -- mostly for Night 4, when they thought they had to roleblock Nav to kill him first. They even posted the entire Vig role info in their forum, and still somehow thought he needed to be blocked first.

Mittens also gets honorable mention here by himself for blocking Nav N1, and saving him from dying. Also because I've now got a HOF/HOL up before him, and my game started a full month later.

im317 -- for going inactive on D1, leading to being lynched and costing the town their most powerful role.

Nav -- Targeted 3rd party (blocked), mafia, town (blocked), town (blocked). Maybe shouldn't have claimed so early (or maybe it was for the better in the long run)

Josh -- For drunk posting and ruining Dadd's afternoon. That was a pretty dick move.

I really didn’t think we had to block the Vig along with targeting. But at that phase of the game, wasn’t really a better target to block. And you forgot Josh for HOL for drunk posting

You would have killed him. It was the whole "If shot by the mafia, Vigilante fails to kill." part of his role.

The role superseded the listed order of operations for that action only. For everything else, he acted before the mafia killer.
