Sally was just a young kid. She didn't have all the responsibilities and worries of her older brother, but his death hit her hard. She vowed to do whatever she could to prevent any more senseless deaths.
She snuck out of her house and was heading to her dear Linus' place when she felt a tap on her shoulder. As she turned around to see who it was, she was knocked to the ground and pelted with pumpkin after pumpkin. It was just too much to take for one little girl.

Schroeder didn't really care for the others. He was more interested in his music. He loved to sit and play on his piano day and night. This incessant playing started to anger the rest of the group.
"Our friends are dying, and you just want to play music?" exclaimed Violet.
Peppermint Patty chimed in "You good for nothing waste of space!"
Yet Schroeder continued to ignore them. That was just too much for normally reserved Marcie to take.
She stomped over to him, picked up his small piano, and starting beating him over the head with it. "How do you like those notes?" she could be heard saying in between loud thuds and cracks of the soft wood against Schroeder's head.
After the beating was complete, you hear Linus off in the distance saying "What's black and white and red all over?"
"What?" asked Violet.
"Schroeder and his broken piano" Linus replied, chuckling to himself.
