Day 6 begins with initial reports that we lost another tribute over the past night. It appears that the poor boy from District 7 was brutally attacked by a whip. Normally, you'd think a tribute that made it this far into the games would be able to survive an attack like that, but the bandage on his right arm and left ankle imply he wasn't at 100% heading into the night. Nobody expected that boy to make it this far into the games, so his district should be proud of his efforts.

It appears that the gamemakers have decided to spice things up a bit and have released a colony of tracker-jackers into the arena. It's well known that the tracker-jackers carry deadly poison and are drawn to sweet smelling objects. As the tracker-jackers descend on the tributes, they are drawn specifically towards two of the tributes; Dadd and Curtis. All of the others are able to take cover and escape relatively unscathed, but the other two, are not in as good of shape.

Miraculously, neither Dadd, nor Curtis died in that surprise attack, but they are quite sore and covered in open wounds.

Give me a couple of minutes to get to a computer, and I'll write it up.

The sixth day has been filled with excitement, with the gamemakers inserting the tracker-jackers in for some added flavor. Unfortunately, none of the tributes fell to those nasty little creatures, but a couple of them were pretty shaken up. The girl from District 5 being one of those. She had no more fought off all of the tracker-jackers, and healed some of her wounds, when a group of three tributes descended onto her camp. At this point, there was nowhere for her to escape to, and her days in the games would shortly come to an end.

Player: Dadd Character: Female Tribute from District 5

With the girl from District 5's death, there were only four tributes remaining: The boy from District 6, the girl from District 9, and the two tributes from District 12. At this point, all of the tributes are tired, nursing some form of injuries, and hungry. They can see what is in front of them, and they know what needs to happen next.

The two tributes from District 12 look quickly at each other, nod, and begin attacking the other two remaining tributes. First, the girl from 12 rushes forward, drops her bag and picks up a rock and hurls it in the direction of the other girl. Before the girl from 9 can even react, the rock hits her square on the knee and she drops to the ground, unable to run. At this point, she knows her time in the games is likely over, so she closes her eyes and awaits her fate. The girl from 12 obliges her in this desire, after she picks up the rock again and brings it down squarely onto the top of her skull.

Player: Josh Character: Female Tribute from District 9

Meanwhile, the boy from district 12 has the boy from district 6 in his sites. The two of them both spot a large stick lying on the ground between them, and they make a quick break for it. However, the boy from 12 is able to reach it first, as the other boy is slowed from a previous injury. The boy from 12 raises the stick high and swings with all his might, striking the other tribute straight in the chest, knocking the wind out of him, and knocking him straight to the ground. While normally a peaceful person, the boy from 12 knows what must be done. He lifts the stick one last time and brings it down flush onto the face of the other boy, crushing his skull under the force of the impact.
