I dont hold grudges like that. 3) Like I said, it was a random split second decision in an attempt to get scum to target me and be outed. Didnt work, but I'd posit that killing a scum player and getting the mafia to use their ninja kill was worth it. I am sorry that Mittens got caught up in the crossfire though. My bad dude!

Except you didn't kill a scum player. Read the mod forum, Team Chaos winning had no bearing on whether or not town won. So good job, you got a 3rd party lyncher killed, a town watcher killed, and yourself killed. HOF for sure.

Well if that is how we should look at TP (not saying we should or shouldn't) then Spin could have fully claimed (possibly even hiding the TP part first) and if that didn't work then vlady could have backed him up. For a large part my vote for Spin was based on the way he defended himself, SOMETHING seemed off...

I knew that I could win with town, but I didn't know how I'd scan to a day cop. Plus, if he was a day cop, it didn't do me any good to get him lynched, which is why I waited so long to vote him. Only when it was pretty certain he was full of shit did I move my vote that way, because he was lying.

If I had fully claimed, I'd have been lynched immediately. A Town JOAT who can steal a vote, redirect someone, and roleblock someone sounds susaf.

I agree that Lyncher isn't automatically scum, as sometimes they can have the role of killing mafia members, and sometimes their targets are randomly chosen (although, numerically this probably favors scum but w/e). But if a person is going to try to argue that it's in town's best interest to keep them alive when they are third party roles that are more or less benign, they better have already been working pretty hard at scum hunting and providing value to town. I see people use this type of defense after doing pretty much nothing all game and they expect it to hold up (it didn't happen this game, but it's happen plenty in the past). And to be honest, in those instances I think the third party player deserves to lose. Because even Third Party isn't always direct scum, there is always the possibility that a more dangerous third party role is lying. Unless they've built up some town cred, or there are better options available, I'll often be willing to test that claim. So I guess the moral of the story is don't be lazy as a third party.

My bad, I'll make sure to be less lazy before I make my first post next time.
