My song is going to fit in nicely with all these other choices. | |

Indica - Scissor, Paper, Rock
--I really like the music, but the lead vocalist sounds like nails on a chalkboard...
Lucy Dacus - Night Shift
--This song started off too quiet and too slow, and it just got worse as it went on. Hard pass for me.
Daniel Olson, Jonathan Eng, Linnea Olsson - Begin Again
--Best song of the playlist so far, but that really wasn't a hard bar to reach. For my sanity, I hope there are at least 3 better songs remaining in this list.
Yung Lean, FKA twigs - Bliss
--I have absolutely no idea what this is, but it's weird enough that I'm intrigued. I also have the urge to yell out 'orders up'.
Dashboard Confessional - Slow Decay
--Meh, this feels like a song I'd hear on the radio and wouldn't change the station, but also wouldn't really pay much attention to it. Probably gets my second vote so far.
alt-J - Breezeblocks
--Another song where I have no idea what this is. It's ok, maybe? maybe not? This playlist makes absolutely no sense so far.
PINES, Water Park - Tell Me (feat. Water Park)
--While not my cup of tea, as they say, it's at least a coherent song and musical arrangement. This is solidly my third vote so far.
Amon Amarth - Find a Way or Make One
--As this song is so very different than everything else so far, I am safe to guess this was my nomination. This makes the first time I've listened all the way through this song. I just went to a Metal playlist and picked a random song to submit. It's not too bad. I won't vote for it (trying to not self-vote), but it'd easily get my vote if it was nominated by someone else.
Kelly Clarkson - Happier Than Ever
--Now that is a complete 180 from the last song. Didn't like Clarkson when she was on Idol, and it hasn't gotten any better since.
Genesis - Firth Of Fifth
--There are very few songs good enough to sustain a 9+ minute song. This is not one of them.
Kulick - Time to Go
--This band and song sounds like what you'd get if you took Panic at the Disco! and they had a kid who tried to emulate their parents, but put a more modern pop slant on the genre. It's not bad, but it sounds like one of those songs a top-40 station would play twice an hour for 2 weeks straight then you'd never hear it again.
Bertrands Wish - Those Days Have Gone
--Wikey gets a default vote from me. I don't even have to listen to it (although I will to give him a listen).
