The small group, charged with determining who would control the beautiful Kashmir Valley, rose for a fifth morning, ready to finalize their decision.
Penner woke first, and decided to put on his finest apparel for this momentous occasion.
"It's been too long. Kashmiri's deserve to self-govern." he said, in the mirror to himself, trying to build his confidence.
As he headed out the door, he stopped suddenly.
"My lucky dice" he shouted, at nobody in particular, as he headed back into the house.
"Where is it, I know I left it here on the counter last night?!?" he asked, starting to get annoyed.
"Are you looking for this?" a voice from the shadows said, as the dice dropped and rolled along the floor.
"Yes, thank you very...wait, what are you doin...". That was all he could get out before the shot rang out, and Penner was dead on the floor. The dice fell out of his hand, and landed with a 3 on top.
"Hmm, guess he was lucky after all."

Win Condition: Eliminate all threats to the Kashmiri |

Ahoda was oblivious to what was going on at Penner's residence. He had spent the whole night sitting by the front door waiting for that delivery that he knew was coming.
"I know my recruitment letter is in the mail. I just know it. It'll come any time now" he kept telling himself, never once losing the faith.
When he noticed the sun had risen, and no deliveries had been made, he reluctantly got dressed and headed back into the groups meeting place.
As he walked in, he saw Rodney sitting at the table already.
"Did you get your letter last night?" Ahoda asked him.
"What letter?" Rodney replied.
"The cult recruitment letter? Mine seems to have gotten lost in the mail" Ahoda replied, deeply saddened.
"Oh, I did receive something, but it wasn't addressed to me. Let me look to see who it was addressed too."
Rodney reached into his bag and pulled out a small white envelope. "Looks like it is for you after all" he said, sliding it across the table to Ahoda.
Ahoda's eye's lit up! Could it be, could he finally have gotten his recruitment letter that he'd been longing for this whole time? Without hesitation, he ripped open the envelope and pulled out the letter and began reading.
"Dear Ahoda, we'd like to welcome you into our cult. Our cult of the dead. Signed, Rodney." He paused briefly. "What a weird name for a ..."
But before he could even finish his statement, his nose started bleeding and he lost all breath. In his haste, he had missed all the white powder that had fallen out when he took out the letter from the envelope. In only a matter of minutes, Ahoda was dead, face down on the table.

Player: Ahoda
Role: Kashmiri Citizen (VT)
Ability: Player has no active night action.
Win Condition: Eliminate all threats to the Kashmiri

Taking a look around, and seeing no one else there, Rodney couldn't help but smile. He had done it. He had kept this beautiful land in his country's possession at least for a little while longer. He quietly knelt down to the ground and looked up at the sky and said...
"الحمد للہ"

Congratulations to the Pakistanis (Mafia) [and the Iranian (Herm)] on wining the game!
|
Player: Rodney
Role: Pakistani Gambler (Mafia)
Ability: On odd nights, player selects one target and any action used on the player will be used on the target instead. On even nights, player will select one target, and that target will use their action on the player. As the even night action is passive, player may also carry out the factional kill on even nights.
Win Condition: Eliminate all threats to the Pakistanis and have 50% (or greater) of the remaining players. |
I'll get the rest of the things all posted up later on today. Thanks again to everyone for playing. I look forward to seeing you all back here in 6-12 months for Battle for Kashmir VII.

Just one initial thought since I just saw a reference to this movie earlier today:
Hey Stargate...

Three VTs in a 14 person game and without recruiting. I’m bewildered.
Thanks for hosting, Spin! |
There was recruiting. Jay could recruit himself into the mafia (which he would have done had he not died first), Stargate could recruit himself into any known faction, and Nav could recruit people to a Mason forum.
But for cult, yeah, there was no cult.

Couldn't have done it without you
Yeah thanks spin that was awesome. You have a way with balancing games that sound impossible to balance. Always seems to come down to wire here in Kashmir
|
It's the 15 minutes I put into planning. Don't over think things...lol.

I edited the links to the mafia board and the graveyard above. They should theoretically be open to anyone now.

I almost forget to include Herm was also a winner, so I've edited that into the OP above.

Gmaj gets Town MVP for having easily the best reads of any town player in the entire game, and then getting laughed at and lynched because of those reads.
Rodney gets Mafia MVP for leading the attack on im317 causing everybody to assume he was town.
Herm gets unaligned MVP for somehow guessing correctly that Farlig would be visiting the guy who Stargate bombed, and hitting his win condition on N1. Although it deprived us all of seeing Herm try to act in the game thread in a way to draw a mafia kill at night.

I very likely would've blown the cover of both my teammates so I'd argue that I'm Mafia HOF for that genius move of not logging in until Day 1 was over |
I'm fairly confident you and genius don't belong anywhere near the same sentence.
