The next theme is... Music of the World. Each person selects 4 songs but none of the artists can be from the same country.

If you would like to participate, send me (via PM) your 4 song choices that fit into the theme posted above. I don't look forward to trying to police the 4-country rule, so please follow it when you submit your songs, and for my sake, please indicate the country represented by each song choice. I'll leave this open for a bit, to allow people to participate. Once we get to about 10 entries, I'll post a 24-hour window or something to close signups at that point.

I've already nominated most of my favorite non-US-based artists for previous lists, so this might be a bit of a challenge.

I can't wait for Vern to nominate a Beatles song, an ABBA song, something very top-40 from the late 2000s, and some K-Pop song.

Forgot to do this today. When is it due?

Within about a day of when I get to 8 or so entries.

We are at 7, I believe, once I process the two currently sitting in my inbox waiting for me to get home.

The deadlines aren't hard deadlines. I just thought if I could get everything together on Thursday night, we could open things up on Friday and give people the weekend to listen, if they wanted. If more people need time to submit, we can push the opening until later in the weekend.

Either way is fine with me.

I've got 10 lists now that Ahoda finally picked 4 songs that other people hadn't already picked.

Maddie, if you want to submit, and can do it tonight, that'd be ideal, otherwise get it to me tomorrow so we can open up over the weekend.

Christian has nominated a song to be the official theme song of this episode. Since it wasn't nominated by anyone else, sure, why not.

There was 1 song that was nominated by at least 3 different people, and probably 4 (if I wanted to look back), so I guess I know which song is going to win the whole thing this time through.

Last call for entries. I'll be randomizing the groups in the morning, and will post the opening round at some point tomorrow.

If I get bored of sitting on the couch watching college football, sure.
